Daily Briefing
Each after dinner at the lodge a daily briefing is held by the lodge manager of the Deep Creek Lodge. Each guest will be informed with al the information regarding the next day activities.
Sample-trip
River plus 7 nights / 6days fishing
A sample fishing itinerary for a guest visiting might be as follows
Day 1: Upon your arrival at Terrace Airport Francesco will meet you at the baggage claim area, transfer to the Lodge, be shown your room, buy fishing licences, get waders, have dinner.
Day 2: Transfer to one of the Kitimat launch boats site. Drift stretch one and fish for steelhead or salmon.
Day 3: With a powerful jet boat you will fish the misty Skeena for big chinook or legendary steelheads.
Day 4: Transfer to one of Skeena River Tributaries. With a jet boat navigate to several pools looking for Steelhead or Salmon.
Day 5: Transfer to one of Nass River Tributaries. Walk in and wade several pools looking for Steelhead or Salmon.
Day 6: Transfer to one of the Kitimat launch boats site. Drift stretch four and fish for steelhead or salmon.
Day 7: With a powerful jet boat you will fish the misty Skeena for big chinook or legendary steelheads.
Leave the lodge after breakfast at least 1 hour and half before the flight departure.
Customization of your trip is matter us very much and there are many ways to customize your trip. Some guests like to fish a specific river, or fish for a specific type of fish or technique of fishing, some like to mix hunting or other activities with fishing.
Upon arrival, you will be offered a variety of guided activities from which to choose for your days afield. These activities include:
Fly Fishing for all species of fish
Trolling or spin casting for salmon
Wildlife viewing for bear, whales, eagle, marine mammals and birds
Hiking, biking , climbing in nearby specific trails
Visit the First Nation history and culture sites
Kayaking or paddling the many rivers or lakes
